Larry W. Anderson is a lifelong Missourian who uses his small-town background to bring his first young adult novel, I, Eugenius, to life. An educator with thirty years of experience in the classroom, Anderson understands the trials and conflicts of young people who resolve personal issues in ways different than adults. The middle school is a familiar setting as is adolescents’ life perspectives and their determination to find their own way. Anderson likes to explore themes of friendship, secretiveness, and courage when writing about young people. Anderson has BA and MA degrees, is a published poet, and writes newspaper columns for two publications in Nodaway County. |
